Polovraga (geto Aryan language) belongs to so-called “immortality plants” being renowned as a great healer, as it is warding off any negativity within the body.
The Pelasgic Arians used it 13.000 years ago. Dacians, “the wisest and brave among Thracians” (according to Strabo), the Romanian people’s ancestors, were known as great magicians and healers.
Many historians, folklorists, and erudite, among them Mircea Eliade, the Romanian most famous
specialists in religious traditions attested to their shamanic capacities.
One of the most healing plants in their realm is considered Polovraga for its capacity to heal any illness.
Only those who know the secret circulate the formula of the treatment which has very good results in treating bone illness, cancer, and any infection in the body.
It is probable that the knowledge was transmitted orally from generation to generation.
The subject never appears in the actual writings because the amazing powers of this mysterious plant and the subjects concerning immortality were very ocultated.
It is said that any information concerning this plant was removed either from the books of antic medicine.
Old beliefs found in sacred texts and secret rituals affirm that the human being when functioning to the proper potential is invincible and immortal.
So were the Dacians (or Thracians); they were strong powerful people who were never conquered.
An apocryphal text says that even Alexander the Great went on a campaign in those areas and was impressed by their wisdom and made a peace agreement after he drank a friendly cup of wine and listened to their amazing stories.
Today Polovraga grows in Romania as the single species that is the real healing in the entire world.
It is said that the tea dissolves any chist or tumor within a couple of months and restores the quality of the muscles and vital functions of all the organs in the body.
A very effective decoction is made by spring fresh water boiled, in which the plant is dipped. The plant must be let in the water 45-73 minutes until its essences were extracted.
The most difficult part is to rich this plant because it grows on the edges of the mountains The mysterious part of this amazing story is that Polovraga grows in a single spot in the world, which is near the Zamolxis cave, in the Polovragi county (Romania), evidently named after the name of this amazing plant.
The God Zamolxe, which was incarnated amongDacians, as Mircea Eliade attested, was attending his disciples in this cave where it seems they had a healing chamber. He had been teaching them the secrets of a sacred medicine, healing body, and spirit. They advised them to not use vine because it disturbs the mind.
The cave presents special energy which disturbs any electronic equipment. The air is fresh and strongly revitalizing. It is the longest tunnel in the world, 10 kilometers but only a portion of it can be visited (900 meters). It is said that the end is located at Sarmizegetusa (Solar temple). Sometimes Zamolxis disappeared in this tunnel and probably was going to the temple.
“The documents at our disposal emphasize the role of Zalmoxis in making it possible to obtain the “immortalization” of the soul. It is true that initiates are believed to go to Zalmoxis after their death, but this does not mean that the god is the Sovereign of the Dead. Zalmoxis’ disappearance, his “death,” is equivalent to a descensus ad inferos as a means of initiation By imitating the divine model, the neophyte undergoes a ritual “death” precisely in order to obtain the non-death, the “immortality” which the sources emphasize” – Mircea Eliade
In the Grote was found the throne of Zamolxis and in the cave wall were found fossilized Polovraga roots. High argile made Owen found here are supposed to be used to boil healing plants.
When their warriors were wounded in battles they were brought to the sacred cave and their bodies anointed with healing potions. As in an incubation they were left there and after a few days, they came out with their fatal wounds totally healed.
These people were also totally rejuvenated here and probably made immortal.
“The Anderson that Zalmoxis had built, and in which he received the
principal citizens and discoursed on immortality, is found in Thrace and in the
Danubian area” (Mircea Eliade).
The intrepid recorded a few victories in getting the plant (it is assumed that Polovraga still grows around the cave ) by climbing the rocky stones around the cave but many attempts were less lucky. The difficulty of getting the plant may stir the imagination and it needs a lot of courage and belief to get into those areas.
Maybe this old belief can bring back the desire to discover deep mysteries of Nature and
those of human beings.
